New York College continues its dynamic presence in the international scientific community. \u00a0In this context, a very interesting article entitled An Eight-Week Mindful Eating Program Applied in a Mediterranean Population With Overweight or Obesity<\/em>, was published in the prestigious international journal \u201cPsychological Reports\u201d. On behalf of New York College, the lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Dr. Marsha Koletsi, participated as 2nd<\/sup> author. The purpose of the article is the contribution of Mindful Eating in the treatment of obesity based on the adoption of a specific eating behavior. According to the results of the research, beneficial effects were observed on the psychology of the participants, but also on the treatment of overeating.<\/p>\n
