A very successful seminar entitled \u201cEffective Public Administration: The Critical Role of Leadership\u201d<\/strong> was held on Monday, September 9, 2019, in the Hall of Parnassos Literary Society.<\/p>\n

Keynote speaker was Mr. Dimitris Bourantas, Professor and Rector of New York College Educational Group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Mr. Alkiviadis Stefanis<\/strong>, Deputy Minister of National Defense<\/strong>, Mr. Konstantinos Kirinakis, Member of Parliament of Athens, Mrs. Natasa Rova, Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Citizen Protection at the Deputy Minister\u2019s Office, Mr. Dimitris Kirmikiroglou, President of the Alumni Association of the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government,<\/strong> and Mr. Christos A. Ioannou, \u00a0SEV-Hellenic Federation of Enterprises Director for Employment and Labour Market affairs,<\/strong> attended the well-received event.<\/p>\n

The panel discussion was moderated by Dimitris Vergados, SEV Director on Business Issues, Public and Media Communication<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Dr. Christos Diamantopoulos<\/strong> addressed the audience, proceeded with an introduction on the subject, posing key questions to be answered by the panel-Speakers.<\/p>\n

Speeches and presentations of the attendee Speakers followed, analyzing the way in which Public Administration is linked to the Private Sector, linking its importance for the country\u2019s productive reconstruction and development prospects.<\/p>\n

They extensively underlined their proposals on bridging skill gaps for government executive officers, as well as how they can collaborate to reskill employees.<\/p>\n

They presented proposals for an effective utilization of human resources and they analyzed the drafted Government plan for the Executive Branch of the government.<\/p>\n

Keynote speaker, Mr. Bourandas, Professor and Rector of New York College Educational Group<\/strong> delivered his speech.<\/p>\n

Mr. Bourandas<\/strong> emphasized the essential role of leadership for an effective public administration, fascinating the audience with his positions.<\/p>\n

The event was concluded with a series of questions posed by the audience, which were answered by the panelists, thanks to the excellent delivery coordination led by Mr. Vergados.<\/p>\n

As the topic is very interesting and of particular importance, the Organizers committed themselves to organize more academic events and activities concerning this field of study.<\/p>\n
