Graduates received their degrees from academics representing such collaborating institutions as the State University of New York, Empire State College, University of Greenwich,\u00a0 University of Bolton, Universit\u00e9 Toulouse, Institut Universitaire Kurt Bosch, and P\u00f4le ESG-Paris School of Business.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<div>Honorary guest of NYC Thessaloniki this year was<strong>\u00a0Victoria Hislop<\/strong>, a renowned writer, while at the graduation ceremony at NYC Athens, University of Bolton Vice Chancellor<strong>\u00a0Dr. George Holmes\u00a0<\/strong>bestowed upon\u00a0<strong>Ms. Anna Vissi<\/strong>, a renowned singer and music performer, the Honorary Doctorate in Arts for her outstanding contribution in the field of music. Moreover, present at the ceremony was the Rector of the International University of Applied Sciences-Bad Honnef of Germany, Prof. Peter Thuy with which NYC has begun a new collaboration.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>On behalf of the Greek Ministry of Education<strong>\u00a0Mr. N. Kaskavelis<\/strong>, Advisor on Higher Education Affairs, representing the Minister of Education Mr. Loverdos, in his address at the ceremony stated that the international collaborations with Universities in countries with long tradition in education, and its respective networks of instructors and graduates ensure that graduates have the skills of flexibility, adaptation and commitment to innovation.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>Representing the NYC Educational Group Alumni was Ms. Zuzana Stepanovska, Miss Czech Republic and currently working for the American\u00a0consultancy company A.T.\u00a0Kearney, who graduated with distinction from the University of New York in Prague, member institution of the NYC\u00a0Educational Group.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>Also invited at the graduation ceremony was\u00a0<strong>Ms. Zoi Tiganouria<\/strong>, the renowned Greek composer and accordionist who performed music from around the world.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong><em>Mr. Elias Foutsis\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><em>President of New York College Educational Group and\u00a0<strong>Dr. Merodie A.
