Participants were introduced to the basic concepts of Aviation Psychology and Human Factors, and reflected on everyday decision-making and special hazards. The highlight of the workshop was the opportunity for two volunteers to try out their risk perception skills and abilities via hazardous scenarios on a flight simulator. Dimitris&#8217; main research interests are Aviation Psychology, risk perception, risk communication, and behaviour-based interventions. His PhD research investigates the trends of risk perception and risk communication among aviation professionals.
